Jamieson Shea

"Never stop learning. Never stop growing and never burn a bridge". That's the advice given by President Jamieson Shea to a group of recent film school graduates in 2021.
A member of the Producers Guild of America, Jamieson Shea is an award-winning independent film producer with over 25 years of experience in creating and managing feature films, music videos, commercials, live events and original programming for network television. As President, he currently oversees scripted projects for Owl Tree Productions.
Jamieson began his journey into filmmaking as Assistant to Emmy Award® winning producer Marc Smerling during filming of the Academy Award® nominated documentary CAPTURING THE FRIEDMANS, which took home the coveted Grand Jury Prize at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival.
In recent years, Jamieson has served as a technical advisor and production consultant for several acclaimed series and films, including the JJ Abrams/Stephen King series CASTLE ROCK, Paramount's DEFENDING JACOB, and the Netflix original DON'T LOOK UP!.
In 2022, Jamieson completed production on the independent feature comedies ANOTHER HAPPY DAY (starring: Lauren Lapkus, Carrie Coon) and MERRY GOOD ENOUGH (starring: Raye Levine-Spielberg, Joel Murray, Comfort Clinton, Neil Casey and Sawyer Spielberg) as Co-Executive Producer and Producer, respectively.
Under his guidance, Owl Tree Productions has numerous projects in development.
